Game Structure and Probabilities
The Paper Bridges demo features four rows, each containing three bridges. In every row, exactly one bridge hides a hazard while the other two are safe. When you select a bridge in the active row, you face a uniform one in three chance of hitting the hazard. To advance through k safe rows, the probability is calculated as (2/3) raised to the power of k. This structure means that continuing deeper reduces your likelihood of survival exponentially. The game settles automatically after the fourth row, regardless of your choice.
Gross Payouts and Settlement Rules
Gross returns are applied based on the number of safe rows cleared. Surviving one row yields a 1.44x return, two rows yield 2.16x, three rows yield 3.24x, and four rows yield 4.86x. These gross returns include your original stake. If you hit a hazard, you receive zero, and the round ends immediately. You can also manually collect your winnings after any safe row. The stake is deducted once at the start of the round and is persisted before any animations play. If you reload the page, any unfinished round is discarded without a refund or a resumed settlement.
Wallet Mechanics and Fractional Carry
Stakes are set at 10, 25, 50, or 100 virtual coins, with 25 as the default. The payout is computed in hundredths of a coin. The system credits the floor of the whole coins and keeps the fractional remainder, which is persisted separately. This remainder is added back when you next play or when you manually restore your balance. A manual refill is available only when your balance falls below 10 coins while idle, setting your balance to exactly 1000 coins. This restoration sets the balance rather than adding to it. The game has an expected RTP of 96%, with simulation data closely matching this expectation.
Frequently asked questions
How is the payout calculated if I hit a hazard?
If you hit a hazard, you receive zero return. The gross stake deducted at the start is lost, and the round ends immediately. You do not receive any partial payout for the row in which the hazard was triggered.
What happens to my fractional coins when I refill my balance?
Fractional hundredths are persisted separately and are not lost during a refill. When you manually restore your balance to 1000 coins, the system credits the floor of whole coins and retains the fractional remainder. This remainder is preserved in the local storage and added to your next credited amount.
